Today’s date gives you the perfect reason to treat yourself…to some pie. You may think you’re not a traditional pie fan. But you haven’t experienced the Twix Tart from Some Kitchen Stories. They’re twist on pie will change your view of pie (and so many other dishes).

If Twix aren’t your thing (we won’t judge) they offer many other great pie recipes. Spend some time on their blog today drooling over the photos for all of their recipes. You’ll be very happy you did. Then, get baking! Try out at least one of their recipes – you won’t regret it!

Springing Ahead

With signs of Spring popping up in the past week (depending on where you live!) there are a lot of great activities you can look forward to now that the weather is breaking. Getting outside after the long winter months is definitely a top perk but also taking advantage of the extra daylight to get more done from your to-do list, motivating yourself to get started on spring cleaning, and spring decorating easily round out the list.

Today’s round up: Easter Egg tricks! Easter is just a few weekends away and this is such a fun tradition that can liven your tablescapes. Not interested in the (messy) idea of using dye? There are plenty of alternatives. My personal favorite: temporary tattoos.

Brit+Co provides an easy to follow tutorial using the amazing Tattly temp tattoos but you can follow this for any tattoos you might have around the house from your kids or pick up at your local craft store.

Eliminate the mess and decorate your eggs with a more sophisticated touch this year!
