Even though the holiday season has passed I’m still making cookies often. Why? Because I found such a delicious recipe on Pinterest a few months ago and can’t get enough. Plus, they’ve been requested multiple times by friends and family.
What makes these cookies turn out so well? A secret ingredient of…cream cheese. I’ve found it keeps the cookies tasting fresh even a week after I’ve made them. The other trick: refrigerating your dough. I’ve been doing that with all cookie dough I’ve made since discovering this recipe. It really makes a difference and I find it’s easier to find time to bake so many cookies when I break up the process over a few days. I recommend refrigerating your dough for at least 2 hours and up to 3 days.
The recipe is very easy to follow and available on Just a Taste. Try it out this week. You won’t regret it.
